The Lock Tavern Upstairs Bar

We renovated the first floor and roof terrace of this Camden bar, to re-create some old world charm. We wanted it to feel as if it had always been like this upstairs at The Lock Tavern. The space has a light filled open plan bar and seating area along with a smaller cosy Snug room (perfect for private parties) tucked away to the side of the main bar area. From the main room, customers can walk directly onto the stunning roof terrace. The new space is just as inviting during the day as it is at night time, thereby doubling previous customer numbers and revenue for the client.

The Saxon

Set over six floors and a roof terrace, The Saxon is one of South London's most exciting new venues and was nominated for the 2022 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. This was a full design and build project with us starting with an empty shell. The Saxon was designed to give every floor a slightly different style thereby giving customers a choice of different areas to enjoy according to their mood but also attracting a larger selection of the local demographic. This approach led the concept development to give the clients the maximum customer numbers and revenue achievable for the building during both daytime and nighttime trading.

The Lock Tavern - Roof Terrace

This is the Roof terrace of the Lock Tavern in Camden. The first floor bar area leads directly onto this cheerful and stunning roof terrace. We focused on creating an uplifting garden atmosphere on the newly renovated terrace. Along with elegant low-level lighting for nighttime, the new space is just as inviting during the day as it is at night, thereby doubling customer numbers and revenue for the client.

Country Pub

This long standing successful pub in Connemara had an unused room at the side of its main bar which the clients asked us to look at and come up with an inventive way to utilise it. After some research we decided to create a 'Snug' bar resonating the style & atmosphere of a traditional Irish Bar & Shop. In the old days most country pubs would have served the community as both a bar and a local grocery shop. They would always have had a separated but connected 'snug' area for women to use. The space is divided into three areas, with an open plan space with an open fire, a screened off area by the bar counter and a further even smaller private booth seating area tucked behind the red wood panel wall. This area increases capacity and turnover by approx 40% and has been a huge success with their customers. At a later date we were also asked to renovate the toilets off the main bar giving them an eclectic look and feel.

Holiday Rental

A purpose built four bedroom house designed and built for the holiday home rental sector

This house was designed to reflect the colours and textures of the surrounding countryside and to look and feel as if it had always been there sitting on the grounds of the larger early19th century house beside which it was built.

Seafood Restaurant

The previous incarnation of this seafood restaurant in Galway city was losing money because of its tired interior. We renovated it, introducing a new bar counter area, along with an improved seating plan layout, new lighting design, wall surfaces and FF&E through out thereby turning it into a refreshed vibrant and busy Restaurant with over 100% increase in turnover within the first few months  alone.
